![]() Award winning alpaca farmOur love affair with alpacas began one day when we went for a drive and saw a beautiful animal in a pasture. We weren’t sure what kind of animal it was so we stopped, asked questions and fell in love with these soft lovable animals. We have been raising alpacas for about seven years now and still enjoy it. We currently own about 27 to 28 alpacas and also board alpaca for others who enjoy the tax benefits without the chores involved with having their own farm. We enjoy watching the crias neck wrestle, romp and praunk around the pasture. It’s great to walk into the barn and everyone looks at you as if to say “Hi, what are you doing in our barn?” Our alpacas & llamas love carrots and grain some of the little ones love having their back scratched. ![]() We offer many alpacas for sale and pride ourselves with sharing our knowledge and experiences with others. We don’t forget you after the sale, we’re available to answer questions and help with problems, always in a friendly manner. We feel fortunate that we are at both ends of the alpaca process. We raise the alpacas, shear them and sell the end products. Creating beautiful alpaca clothing, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, yarn and more. Alpaca is five times warmer than wool, hypoallergenic, soft as silk and wears forever. Never dry clean alpaca clothing. Washing in cool water with a mild detergent, roll in a towel and lay out to dry. If we can answer any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. Barry & Marlynn Boehnlein |
